From Conakry to the Continent
A recycling operation that became a movement.
In 2012, Odhav Group set up its first operation in Guinea with a simple, radical idea: West Africa's scrap metal shouldn't leave the continent to come back as expensive imports — it should be melted, rolled and reborn here, by African hands, for African construction.
That idea became Odhav Multi Industries SA, Guinea's first fully integrated iron recycler and steel manufacturer. From an induction furnace and a rolling mill grew an industrial ecosystem — billets, TMT rebars, pipes, roofing sheets, nails, wire, industrial gases, and a 30 MW power plant to run it all.
The same builder's instinct then carried the group outward: gold and iron-ore mining, bauxite operations in Cameroon and Sierra Leone, infrastructure through Sarveksha BSTP, a 500-truck transport fleet, agriculture, and a pharmaceutical venture in Chad. Fifteen companies later, the mission hasn't changed — industry that builds the places it belongs to.

Odhav Group established in West Africa
The group's first operation is founded in Guinea, anchored on integrated iron recycling.
OMI SAU fully operational
Guinea's first fully integrated iron recycler and steel manufacturer starts production in Dubreka's Massayah industrial zone.
Industrial ecosystem expands
Rebar rolling mill, structure and pipe mills, industrial gases, oil recycling — and a 30 MW captive power plant. ISO 9001:2015 alignment with Bureau Veritas and SGS approvals.
Sarveksha BSTP founded · Sierra Leone's first steel plant
The group's infrastructure and geotechnical arm launches in Conakry. In November, President Julius Maada Bio commissions Sierra Leone's first steel plant — an Odhav Group landmark.
Chad expansion · Forbes Africa feature
A US$45–50M integrated steel facility is agreed with Chad's Ministry of Commerce and Industry. The group is featured in Forbes Africa's Sierra Leone edition.
